Many of our LifeBook authors grew up during the Second World War and, in their memoirs they describe the typical Christmas celebrations of the time. Even if many of us struggle with the restrictions Covid-19 imposes, today’s Christmas festivities are, in comparison, a luxurious affair for most people.

What to do during your coronavirus home quarantine? Instead of trying to fill your time, we invite you to do something different. Create memories. The old fashioned kind, so to speak. Talk to your children. Share stories. Catch up on all the moments your busy life has made you miss out on.

All employees have moved from the headquarters in England and Indiana to work remotely, and they continue to deliver the beautiful memoirs our families deserve. In order to protect both our authors and their interviewers, we are using our video interviewing technology, allowing our projects to continue without interruption.

Right now, so many of us are feeling the emotional strain of social distancing. We can, however, make the situation a bit better by connecting with our loved ones using video technology. Albeit far from ideal, it does facilitate that all-important human interaction without risking our health.

The Royal wedding fever hit the UK on 19th May and everyone is still talking about it. The LifeBook barn is buzzing about who wore what, how incredible Meghan Markle and Prince Harry looked together. Everybody loves a royal wedding, as evidenced by the legions of well-wishers who lined the streets of Windsor.

With Christmas rapidly approaching (only three weeks to go at the time of writing!), we here at LifeBook Memoirs are currently experiencing our busiest Christmas production schedule yet. Unfortunately, Santa is too busy to help with our deliveries this year, but at least we’re now on first-name terms with our couriers.
